I started to make soap during Covid. I needed to do something that wouldn’t take up as much space as my knitting. How wrong I was.

It started off ok. Just a few bars of soap for friends. But I loved making soap so much I made more and more of it. I looked at the theory behind making soap, I made more soap, I looked at legality of selling soap, I made more soap. It’s like having a chemistry lab in your kitchen. It’s like magic.

Then I had to buy a shed to put my soap into.

Now I have to sell the soap to pay for the shed and other soap stuff. Also, I hope it part funds the retirement from my day job.
