Make your own soap just as you like it.
This was my very first soap. I made it from Olive Oil and Coconut Oil as I could get that in Lidl.
Making it was as scary as it was exciting and I haven’t stopped since.
If you want to have a go at making your own soap book into either a small group workshop or a personal workshop in your own home (I can travel up to 40 miles from St Just, where I am based, included in standard price. For travel further away you need to contact me to agree a price.)
The Workshop includes:
- How to formulate your own soap using internet tools (please bring a tablet or laptop if you have one. I will bring my own so can share.)
- How to deal with Lye (Sodium Hydroxide aka Caustic Soda) safely
- I will provide all ingredients
- You will get your own soap mould to take away with you full of your first own soap (please bring a towel to wrap your soap in and a box or large bag to transport it in. This is to keep your soap warm and prevent spillage.)
- I will consider specific request if I can.
